National PTA Reflections Program - "Accepting Imperfection"
National PTA's Reflections program provides opportunities for students to explore their own thoughts, feelings, and ideas, develop artistic literacy, increase confidence, and find a love for learning that will help them become more successful in school and in life.
Over 300,000 students in Pre-K through Grade 12 create original works of art each year in response to a student-selected theme. This year's theme for the 2024-2025 program year is “Accepting Imperfection.” Students submit their completed works in one or more arts categories: Dance Choreography, Film Production, Literature, Music Composition, Photography, and Visual Arts. Multiple submissions are welcome!
Student submission details:
Reflect on the theme "Accepting Imperfection." - Create an original work of art through; visual art, photography, film production, literature, music composition, or dance that fits the theme.

The deadline for LASA’s submissions is October 31. Rules can be found below. Student and/or Family Member must be a current LASA PTSA member for the 2024-2025 School Year.

PTA Reflections Program Theme Search Contest for 2026-2027
When suggesting a theme, judges take into consideration that:
Theme is unique, inspiring and unlike past program themes.
Theme is focused without being too narrow or too broad.
Theme is clear, concise and appropriate for all grade levels.
Theme is applicable to all arts categories.
Theme promotes PTA values.
Theme is relevant in 2 years.
Past themes and duplicate entries are not considered.
The student who receives the winning entry will receive $ 100

Deadline November 5th
